Triscan expands the existing program of high quality drive shaft and gaiter boots – now it also includes Duraboot universal boots for drive shafts and steering racks. With the new type of universal boots, we offer our customers a third alternative within drive shaft and steering rack boots.

Triscan’s universal Duraboots differ from other conventional universal boots as they do not need to be cut. With a range of only 8 different Duraboots, it is possible to achieve almost a 100% coverage of the European car parc.
The mounting is quick and easy when using the conical mounting cone (Triscan ref. 8541100) or the AIR-TOOL (Triscan ref. 8541103)
The installation is very easy - and also time saving as it is not necessary to remove the cv joint or drive shaft before the universal boot is mounted.

In order to find out which of the 8 references of the universal Duraboots to use for a specific car, the reference number is linked to the o.e. boot in the comment field in Triweb, Tecdoc and other catalogues using Triscan data.

The Duraboot steering rack gaiters are applicable in a large number of vehicles and with only nine different references, you are able to cover almost 100% of the European car parc.
The mounting of the steering rack gaiter is done quickly and efficiently with no need for cutting. The only tool you need, is the included mounting cone. It is as simple as that!.

A practical alternative to the traditional universal cv joint boot
By using the Quick-fit CV joint boot - which is a split boot to glue – is not necessary to dismount the cv joint or shaft before mounting the split boot.
The Quick-fit CV joint boot kit contains, in addition to the split boot, clamps, grease, knife, special glue, disposable gloves as well as a mounting instruction.
