Triscan SELECT

In our Triscan SELECT programme, you will find products and solutions that stand out and deserve special attention! One of the ways in which they differ is that they cannot be categorised within our traditional Triscan product groups, which are characterised by their broad coverage of the vehicle fleet.

But most importantly, they differ in:

• That they make everyday life easier for car mechanics. 
   
• To be an improvement on the original equipment.
   
• To be characterised by particularly high demand.
   
• To be available exclusively from Triscan.
   
• To be available with an extended warranty and, in some cases, a lifetime warranty.

It’s never much fun having to break bad news to a car owner. However, it helps considerably if, as a garage, you can offer a solution that significantly reduces the cost of repairs. 

A faulty electronic actuator on a turbocharger will, under normal circumstances, require the entire turbo unit to be replaced, as the actuator is not sold separately. It is expensive – very expensive.

The good news is that the actuator is available in the Triscan SELECT range.

Although the original oil filter housing is made from glass-filled polyamide, vibrations and heat from the engine cause it to become brittle and crack over time.

The Triscan SELECT oil filter housing is made from die-cast high-strength aluminium, enabling it to withstand both engine vibrations and heat. Furthermore, the surface has been treated to resist corrosion, ensuring the oil filter housing can withstand external environmental factors.

We constantly strive to stay one step ahead of demand in the aftermarket. This also means that we are sometimes the first to offer an alternative to buying OES parts.  

Triscan SELECT parts are, as a minimum, always manufactured to the same standard as the original part and are offered at a more competitive price.  

Furthermore, a Triscan SELECT part will often be characterised by:

• Improved design.
   
• Not available for purchase separately.

Popular car models with less-than-ideal design features generate particularly high demand in the market. This often means that the necessary spare parts can be difficult to source as OES parts. 

The Triscan SELECT programme contains a great many examples of precisely this type of spare part, and we often offer them in an improved version. In some cases, we have even seen instances where car manufacturers are phasing out aftermarket parts – thereby leaving car owners and garages in a difficult situation.

In many cases, we offer our Triscan SELECT products with an extended warranty – and sometimes we even go so far as to offer a lifetime warranty on a product.

An example of a product with a lifetime guarantee could be one of our Triscan SELECT oil pans, which we offer in die-cast aluminium instead of the original plastic material. 

Unlike the original oil pan, the Triscan SELECT aluminium oil pan does not ‘warp’ over time, which can lead to leaks. The Triscan SELECT oil pan also comes with Viton seals.
